Le Sel- Nashville, TN
Today was my last day in Nashville after a short trip to spend time with friends. Jessica, my soul mate, joined me for brunch at Le Sel in the Midtown neighborhood. Typically, I stay far away from this crowded, bro-ish neighborhood but I had seen photos of their blush pink velvet booths and fell in love.
They have a variety of cocktails with the option to purchase a pitcher for the table. Having spent too much time imbibing over the past couple days though, we opted for some black coffee.
We really wanted to try a variety of the fantastic pastries and chose to sample a few things rather than order a main dish. We went with the chocolate croissant, beignets, and the French toast. It's important to note that while these items are on the share section of the menu, the croissant and French toast come out as one item that has to be cut to share. The beignets came in 6 delicious bites on a plate of powdered sugar.
We will absolutely be back the next time I'm in Nashville. The atmosphere was light, smartly decorated and our service was incredible.
