Every time I visit Nashville, I also try to get outside the city to one of the gorgeous state parks nearby. Awhile back I read a great post that outlined several impressive waterfalls within a couple hours of the city. This is a great way to catch up with my friends there that I don’t see very often as well as get some exercise between lattes and Southern food. On this trip we visited Burgess Falls, about a little under 2 hours outside the city.

I recently went to Nashville, Tennessee to visit friends while working remotely for the week. During the beginning of the trip, I went hiking with two of my friends at Fall Creek Falls because despite TLC’s advice, I really enjoy chasing waterfalls.
